Interfracht handled a very special equipment in April. The airport of departure was Hahn which is close to Frankfurt, Germany. Interfracht arranged a full charter for the transport of three heat exchangers to Venezuela. The Antonov-124, which was used for this special transport, is the 2^nd largest aircraft in the world. It belongs to the Airline Volga-Dnepr and arrived on time at 2am. The loading procedure took about 6 hours. The main reason for taking this special aircraft was not the weight of the cargo (over 34000kgs) but the dimensions of the 3 packages, the biggest one was 550x415x350cm. These heat exchangers are now being used in Venezuela to help produce coal briquettes.
